Jack Russell Terrier Dog Temperament

Jack Russell Terrier Dog is a strong, active, great agile working character with flexible body of medium length. His smart movement matches his intense expression. Tail docking is optional and the coat may be smooth, rough or broken.
  • The overall dog is longer than high.
  • The depth of the body from the withers to the brisket should equal the length of foreleg from elbows to the ground.
  • The girth behind the elbows should be about 40-43 cm.
  • Alert lively and active Terrier with a keen, intelligent expression.

Bold and fearless, friendly but quietly confident.
This breed does well in a quiet environment, their tendency to be hyperactive becomes more sensitive to loud noises or irregular behavior of humans. You can actually vibrate with fear when faced with uncertainty about their treatment by the people, and can become a true "wood chipper" by human hands. However, easily reaches the big dogs of the house. Coyote hunters are very good for city streets. In the patio floor with the nose down, always looking for pests and are the undisputed kings and queens drilling. I am very exterminators, and goes after anything and usually prevails.
